Galbot ET1 (Chinese name 银河星仔, rendered by Galbot as AstraKid) is the first bipedal humanoid from Galbot, the Beijing embodied-AI company also known as 银河通用. Galbot’s own product page positions it as a humanoid for entertainment and live performance, with scenarios listed as theme-park interaction, storefront greeting, stage dance and two-person comedy shows. Galbot’s earlier robots are wheeled platforms: the general-purpose G1 and G1 Lite and the industrial heavy-load S1. Galbot’s G1 shares only a model name with Unitree’s G1 humanoid; the two are unrelated products from different companies.
Galbot’s specification block for the ET1 gives a standing height of 1,250 mm and a weight of 32 kg with the battery fitted. The Standard version has 26 degrees of freedom; the Pro and Flagship versions add 12 more with dexterous hands, for 26 + 12. Perception is a stereo camera. The main processor is an RK3588 with an RDK X5, and the higher trims add an NVIDIA Orin Nano at 40 TOPS (Pro) or an NX at 100 TOPS (Flagship). Trade coverage published ahead of the pre-order date quoted 1,230 mm and 30 kg; the figures on this page are Galbot’s own, as published on galbot.com on September 3, 2026. The software side is Galbot’s AstraBrain stack (银河星脑, reported in English-language coverage as Galaxy Star Brain), which Galbot describes as a general-purpose cerebrum model (AstraBrain-WAM), a general-purpose humanoid cerebellum (AstraBrain-WBC) and a world model for dexterous hands (AstraBrain-Dex). The ET1 page describes a 100-million-parameter Transformer motion foundation model and says the robot learns new movement skills through human interaction, without motion capture or motion video. Galbot’s news feed claims the world’s first fully autonomous humanoid tennis play, announced March 17, 2026. Gasgoo’s report describes the same stack as a one-brain, multi-body design spanning Galbot’s bipedal and wheeled robots.
The ET1 debuted at the World Robot Conference in Beijing in August 2026. Pre-orders opened on September 3, 2026. According to Gasgoo, the exterior uses flexible materials and the robot incorporates motor solutions from Unitree.
