Certified Humanoid Technician
Humanoid robots are leaving warranty with no one qualified to fix them. We are writing the first certification standard for the trade. Criteria publish in 2027.
Why a standard
Every repair trade started the same way: the machines arrived first, the qualified people came later. Humanoids are shipping now — this site documents 155 issues and 288 OEM error codes across 6 robots, and that record grows monthly. No independent certification for humanoid repair exists today. When these machines leave warranty, owners will need technicians they can trust, and someone has to define what a qualified humanoid technician knows. We are publishing that definition.

What the criteria will cover
The standard is in development. It will define what a certified technician must demonstrate across safety and lockout procedures, electromechanical diagnosis and repair, firmware and software troubleshooting, OEM error-code fluency, and documentation of completed work. The criteria will be published openly in 2027 — free to read, for anyone to measure themselves against.
Join the founding cohort
