Overview
The Fourier GR-3 is a 1.64 m, roughly 71 kg humanoid that Fourier Intelligence positions as a “Care-bot”: a companion and interaction platform rather than a factory worker. It is the first Fourier robot with a public English developer documentation centre, opened at support.fftai.com in mid-2026; GR-1 and GR-2 are still listed there as “Coming Soon”. The figures on this page come from that documentation’s robot overview and are the manufacturer’s own.

Two figures Fourier publishes twice, differently
Fourier’s own documentation gives two values for two headline numbers. We record both rather than pick one.
- Height: the overview paragraph on the robot overview page says the GR-3 stands 165 cm; the specification table on the same page gives the dimensions as 1642 mm. The site’s landing page also uses 165 cm.
- Degrees of freedom: the specification table says “up to 55” actuators, qualified as including the optional 12-DOF dexterous hands. The GR-Actuator module page describes 31 degrees of freedom for the body: 12 across both legs, 3 in the waist, 2 in the head and 14 across both arms, with the hands excluded. Two 12-DOF hands would bring the total to 55, but Fourier does not state that arithmetic itself.
How much does Fourier GR-3 cost and where can you buy it?
Fourier has not published a price or availability for the GR-3. The developer documentation is the only public source we have found, and it carries neither.
Developer platform
The GR-3 is controlled over DDS through a set of runtime modules Fourier documents individually: a whole-body controller (Aurora), and separate modules for actuators, sensors, dexterous hands, power, media, navigation, manipulation and a motion bank. A Python and C++ SDK, a simulation and training guide, and an exoskeleton teleoperation and data-collection workflow are documented on the same site.
