Where Figure production stands
Figure has produced more than 350 third-generation robots at BotQ, its high-volume manufacturing facility, and reached a cadence of one robot per hour across more than 150 workstations (Figure, April 2026; The AI Insider). The company has reached a $39 billion valuation on $1.9 billion in total funding (RoboZaps). Figure sells commercially but only through enterprise agreements – there is no consumer availability – with deployments including material handling at BMW’s Spartanburg plant (RoboBrief 2026 tracker).
The cost baseline
No Figure-specific BOM has been published. The category baselines: Goldman Sachs Research put humanoid manufacturing cost at $30,000-$150,000 per unit in early 2024, and Bank of America projects actuators at over half of the 2030 bill of materials with dexterous hands a further 19% (RoboZaps).
Our read
This is analysis by HumanoidApplications, not a Figure figure. Because Figure deploys through enterprise agreements, repair and maintenance for current units is almost certainly handled inside those contracts – meaning no public repair-price signal exists yet. - Whether Figure publishes service terms if it moves beyond enterprise-only sales (the company began alpha-testing a robot in home settings back in 2025 – TechCrunch).
